Baxter in the Snow

Breyer Spirit

We just realized that we never made a post announcing that we had Spirit!... and to be quite honest, we feel really bad about that! Why, you ask?... Well, Spirit is the one that started our love of horses. And, he was our very first Breyer horse.

Although the movie, "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" came out in 2001, we didn't see it until 2005. But, you can bet that we have seen it many, MANY times since then.

The first thing you may notice about our Breyer Spirit is that he looks a bit rough (missing tail and plenty of rubs). Well, that is just because he has done a lot of playing! And don't bother mentioning this to him. He would probably just tell you to get off of his back!

Breyer Animal Collectors Guide

We had a great Christmas at Blue Oak Stables!  We have several new horses that we will be adding to our site over the next week or so.

One of the Breyer items we received for Christmas is the Breyer Animal Collector's Guide, 5th Edition by Felicia Browell, Kelly Kesicki and Kelly Korber-Weimer.

If you are a Breyer fan, you will LOVE this book!  It has tons of great pictures and information on all the Breyer Horses and molds.
