Breyer Elvis Presley Collection

Need another reason to attend BreyerFest this year? Well, many of you will love this one... The Breyer Elvis Presley Collection will make its debut at BreyerFest.

The Breyer Elvis Presley Collection is a tribute to Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s favorite horses, past and present. The collection will be launched with a Traditional Series portrait model of Elvis’ registered American Quarter Horse Rising Sun, a palomino named in honor of one of his favorite songs.

BreyerFest will also launch the opening of the Elvis Presley Graceland Stables Exhibit at the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park.

The exhibit, borrowed from the vaults at Graceland, will include Elvis’ saddles and bridles, video footage of the family riding, and other historic archival materials on loan from the stable at Graceland.

The exhibit will open BreyerFest weekend and will be on display throughout the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, to be held Sept. 25-Oct. 10, 2010.

Visit the Breyer site for more info!

Breyer Afleet Alex

We still have another Breyer from our first mystery package to introduce, but first we would like to introduce one that came in the ebay mystery package. Again, this Breyer was a gift for a visiting friend. So, he isn't "technically" a part of Blue Oak Stables, but he will probably be making some frequent guest appearances!

Who is this mystery Breyer? It is Afleet Alex!

Breyer Four Seasons Treasure Hunt Fall

As we mentioned in earlier posts, we received a few mystery packages before Easter. I am happy to say that we now know what was in those packages.

The first package we mentioned contained two Breyer Horses. However, one of those Breyers doesn't belong to Blue Oak Stables. He was actually a gift to a visiting friend. But, we would still like to mention him. So, without any further delay, please say hello to the Breyer Four Seasons Treasure Hunt Fall Horse.
